Gold Leaf Course Available Now

'Learn a new craft in an afternoon, master in a week'

My golden gilding course has arrived! It's all pre recorded so you can complete it anytime you like from the comfort of your own home. You can pause, rewind and rewatch as much as you like and there will be a bonus Christmas tutorial added to the members area very soon. It has to be the best time of year for adding a touch of gold to so many things. Word of warning though, it's very addictive, once you start you won't be able to stop gradually beautifying more and more of your home! If you're anything like me and others I know who well and truly got the gold bug, once you get a taste, you'll find yourself looking around your home for your next soon to be golden victim.

Whether it's cold and miserable outside, you're bored of lockdown or you just want to take your mind off other things and get crafting, I hope this course will cheer you up if you need it, clear you head and may even give you a bit of sparkly Christmas spirit.

For those who've been asking to give the course as a gift, good news! For loved ones who like crafty things, decorating their homes and learning new skills, there will be a course gifting option added to the shop this week.

If you have 2 minutes, let me tell you a little bit more about it:

The course is ideal for absolute beginners and those who may have dabbled before. We use imitation gold leaf in order to keep costs low and it is also easier to handle than the real thing but still looks beautiful. The course includes loads of useful info, practical sessions where step by step I show how I apply gold leaf, how to achieve different effects with it and then we add a golden design to a plain plant pot, vase or glass (whichever you have available). There are further tutorials where I take a cheap plastic pound store frame and give it a new golden life and I add some gold to a piece of furniture for an aged look.

All of this should give you the confidence in buying the right materials and go on to create many more golden beauties and develop your golden skills around your home. Practice makes golden perfection.

As always if you have any questions please let me know,

Take care of yourselves,

Lara x
